Nile Cruiser | The most popular way to travel the Nile these days is by Nile Cruiser which come in a series of 4*, 5* or 5* Deluxe categories. With up to 60+ cabins, multiple restaurants, deck lounge areas, night club for evening entertainment, this is generally the option when you wish to join large groups of mixed nationality tourists. Double cabins consist of en suite facilities and are fully air conditioned.

Multiple Comfort | Our recommend choice for all tours is the Comfort Style, which is generally in a 3* category. This style choice gives you comfortable hotels with good service and facilities, whilst keeping a local appeal. Our aim to to use only locally owned hotels whenever possible on this tour.

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be picked-up by your Embah Tour Leader and transfer to Cairo Hotel. You have the rest of the day free until the evening briefing with your TL where they wil go over the adventure ahead and collect any paperwork & payment requests.
Today we enjoy a full day sightseeing visiting the Great Giza Pyramids & Egyptian Museum. Cairo is the largest city in in Africa and the most populated with over 91 million people. The great majority of people live near the banks of the Nile River, an area of about 40,000 square kilometers, where the only arable land is found. Such a densely populated area makes Cairo a hub of activity 24/7, the City that never sleeps. The Giza Pyramids are a main hightlight and landmark of Egypt and by far the oldest of the ancient Wonders and the only one still in existence. The archaeological site sits on the Giza Plateau, on the outskirts of Cairo. The complex of ancient monuments includes the three pyramids known as the Great Pyramids, the massive sculpture known as the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers' village and an industrial complex. After our visit in Giza we drive through Cairo to the Egyptian Museum, located Downtown, the museum is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. Your Tour Leader will point out relevant peices that you will learn more about while discovering their original "home" while on your adventure down the Nile. After you visits you have time to rest & eat before heading to Ramses Train Station for your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Onboard you will have a Dinner Box once on the way and again a breakfast box in the morning before arriving in Aswan.
Arrival in Aswan and check in hotel. This morning you have free time to explore Aswan at your own pace or book one of our optional excursions. Afternoon walk around a local market where you can try your skills at haggling and enjoy some friendly banter with the locals. In the evening you will enjoy a traditional Egyptian dinner in the home of a local Nubian family. Overnight in hotel.
Free morning with optional visit to the spectacular Abu Simbel temples. Early 3am pick up for the drive to Abu Simbel which is approximately 300km from Aswan. The twin temples are located on the westren bank of Lake Nasser which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Nubian Monuments. Marvel at the sheer size of these magnificent temples that were hand carved out of the mountainside as a lasting monument to Pharaoh Ramesses 11 and his Queen Nefertari. Transfer to the River Nile to board cruise ship for Nile Sail.
Full  day on board your cruise ship sailing down the Nile. Sit back and enjoy the stunning scenery and take in the peace and quiet  whilst enjoying the sunshine. Observe the local fisherman, in their small boats, casting their nets into the river and transporting their catch along the river. Sail past lush green fields ploughed by oxen and wave to the locals as they harvest their crops by hand. Overnight on board Nile Cruiser .
Full day on board your cruise ship continuing your sail down the Nile. This ever changing landscape and scenery will keep you mesmerized whilst watching the water buffalo and the many birds along the waters edge. See the locals going about the daily chores on the riverbank, washing the pots or rinsing their clothes. Wave to the smiling children as they splash and play in the waters of the River Nile. Overnight on board Nile Cruiser.
Disembark cruise ship for a visit to the Temple of Edfu. The temple is dedicated to the falcon God Horus and is located on the West Bank of the River Nile. Enjoy a guided tour learning about the history and purpose of this site. Transfer to Luxor. Free evening time to explore. Overnight in hotel in Luxor.
Full day sightseeing in Luxor on the Westbank. Step back in time and travel by doneky to discover the famous site of the Valley of the Kings and Queens. There are 63 known tombs which differ dramatically in size, from a simple pit to complex tombs boasting 120 chambers. Explore these ancient tombs before heading back over the river to visit the beautiful funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s first female Pharoah. Overnight in hotel.
Today you are free to explore at your own pace or book one of our many optional excursions. Wonderful opportunity to take a calesh ride around Luxor or, for the more adventurous, take to the skies in a hot air ballon for a birdseye view over the Valley of the Kings. In the evening take the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo. 
Arrival in Cairo and transfer to your hotel. Free day for you to explore Cairo, depending on your interests, you can visit the oldest pyramid in the world at Sakkara or drive to Old Cairo and explore the Citadel - a complex of mosques and museums housed inside a magnificent fortress. Khan El Khalili bazaar is well worth a visit, as it is one of the largest bazaars in the Middle East, with a kaleidoscope of colours, sights, sounds and smells from the exotic spices and perfumes on display. Alternatively you may choose to sit and relax in one of the many traditional tea houses and watch the world go by. Overnight in hotel in Cairo.
Check out from your hotel and transfer to Cairo International airport for your flight home.
