With this 3 Day Jeep Safari into the stunning Black Desert and White Desert with a visit to the Oasis of Bahariya,you will gain an insight into this surreal region. During this 4x4 jeep safari, stop at Natural mineral hot springs at el Haiz, Discover the Crystal Mountain, Salt & Magic lakes, English Army House, Black Mountain of Basalt, and surreal Mushroom Rocks field in the White Desert. Our Desert Camp is set up at the end of each day on pastel coloured sand dunes in the heart of the desert, to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. Traditional dinner is served by fire and we enjoy a peaceful evening and sleep under a blanket of stars.

Desert Camp Western Desert | EMBAH’s nomadic desert camp in the Western Desert is tailored around the 4x4 Jeeps for support & shelter, with traditionally decorated tarpollens. Carpeted areas and mattresses are furnished to ensure your comfort whilst sleeping under the stars, with dome tents available for extra privacy. A kitchen area is set adjacent to the camp, where freshly prepared meals will be cooked on an open fire. Designated washing and toilet areas are set, and in some cases you can bathe in hot springs or fresh water oases. Our camp locations are picked for favorable weather conditions and stunning scenery.

1Bahariya Oasis

Lunch, DinnerDesert Camp Western Desert

Early morning departure by A/C minibus from your hotel taking the fast road to exit Cairo. 5 hours drive with one short stop on the way before reaching Bahariya Oasis by 11:30am. Opportunity to bath in one natural hot spring while lunch is prepared. Your Guide would have installed a sitting area under the palm trees to enjoy lunch and rest before starting the safari. All equipment is loaded onto the jeeps. Exploration of the village, visit to the lakes and sugarcane fields. Drive off road until camp is set at the bottom of the dunes of Abu Maadi. Dinner & overnight camping.

2Black Desert & Hot Springs

Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerDesert Camp Western Desert

After breakfast, drive further West. Visit of the Crystal & Black Mountains. Lunch in the small Bedouin Oasis of El Hayes. Hot spring to freshen up before lunch is taken inside the charming lodge. Drive through the White Desert towards the New White Desert area where the camp will be set for the night amongst the Mushroom Rocks. Dinner & overnight camping.

3White Desert Trek

Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerDesert Camp Western Desert

After breakfast, 40 minutes photographic trek on foot in this amazing landscape that looks like a science fiction set. The jeep will join us for a fun drive in the sand dunes before taking the asphalt road to return to Bahariya Oasis. Lunch at the top of the hill where the remains of the English Army House is located, strategic observation point that became for our greatest pleasure the most spectacular view over the Valley. After our picnic lunch, the jeeps will leave us with our bus driver for a journey back to Cairo. Return to hotel by 8pm.
